Our Services

Are you looking to buy a C3 Corvette and want determine if the engine is original or a restamp? Are you trying to determine if the the trim tag on your car is original? Did your car come with a window sticker and a tank sticker when you bought it and they look old, but you are looking to validate if they are they original? We can help.

Since I began collecting solid lifter early C3's in the early 90's I have had a true passion for these cars and their history.  Along the way I built one of the worlds largest databases of original factory paperwork, trim tags and engine stampings. It all started over 30 years ago when I was looking at a 69 L71 convertible and couldn't tell if the engine was a restamp or original. I bought the car with without knowing for sure. Looking back when I evaluate the engine stamping though the process we have developed, it was 100% original. I was lucky, but I have spoken to a lot of buyers that haven't been so fortunate. That is why we started Corvette Validation Services.

On 68-71 Corvettes you can't tell what engine came in the car originally by the VIN. In 1972 GM decided to add a letter in the VIN to designate which engine option the car had when it left the St. Louis plant. This opens the door for fraudulent cars, especially on 68-71 Corvettes. With prices rising on early C3's, dealers advertising "Numbers Matching" (which means nothing), and many people creating fake trim tags and paperwork, it's more important than ever to do your homework and determine what's real and what isn't.

So if you are looking to buy your first chrome bumper car or just want to validate a car you already own, we are here to assist you.  As part of our services you will receive confirmation and a certificate listing the VIN of your car if we can authenticate it.
